LONDON, Aug. 7, 2007 (Thomson Financial delivered by Newstex) -- Lockheed Martin Corp (NYSE:LMT) said it has been awarded a 23 mln usd contract by Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) Corp to support the upgrade of satellite communication systems used by the US Air Force B-2 stealth bomber.

Lockheed said it will replace the B-2's flight management computers with a new subsystem.

Lockheed said it will provide engineering, technical, logistics and configuration management support services for the Aegis weapons systems on five F310-class frigates. Source
